Onit Events produces and promotes StreetFest Festival.
StreetFest is a ground breaking ‘taste maker’ event. It is the first live art street festival in the UK. Not following in anyone’s footsteps, StreetFest performers are drawn from across the artistic spectrum ranging from creative painters, designers, illustrators, skaters, and writers who express themselves during the day through original live demonstrations, illustrations, screenings and shows. This niche festival harnesses collective creativity in a real-time/fully interactive setting. StreetFest uses built up urban backdrops to showcase its multiple dimensions and has been a launch platform many of the UK’s leading artists.
The ethos of StreetFest is to generate an increased level of audience participation through the medium of live art primarily and other art forms (film, music, dance, sport, spoken word & fashion etc). This higher level of participation is different to standard festivals where the dynamic is one-way and centred around the DJ/Band on a stage.
