Desperados Headline
Set in the heart of Shoreditch is Rivington Street - the hub of this dynamic and ‘taste making’ area. Onit Events were approached by Desperados to create various brand touch points across multiple locations within the festival. We ended up secured headline sponsorship.
Working with Desperados and various venue operators we devised a headline sponsorship package involving several interactive activations. From product sampling zones to strategic POS props, onto Street magicians, through to music stage takeovers, Desperados connected with and earned the respect of the audience.
The sampling zone activation, although ‘obvious’ in its premise, was a very inviting and welcoming introduction into the festival. Upon entry visitors were immediately met by a sampling team serving small perfectly chilled Desperados measures.
A selection of both breakthrough and established music acts provided the audio ‘backdrop’ to the day’s events on the outdoor stages. Performers included Living Proof, Batty Bass, Boglewaltz, Supa Dupa Fly, Remedy, Reggae Roast, DJ Mag, Vibe Called Quest, Rock The Bells, Sister Sister, Base 6, Stoney Browder Jnr, Chima, Lazy Talk, Something Sounds, Nu Northern Soul Records, Boglewaltz, and headline appearance by The Alternative Dubstep Orchestra.
