The Do-Over Block Party

Founded in 2005, The Do-Over has grown to become a worldwide phenomenon with regular outdoor parties across the US and the rest of the world. Onit Events were approached by The Do-Over and Boglewaltz teams to licence, produce and staff their inaugural UK event.

The event was one of London's hippest - street party series. As the UK producers of this event, we were uniquely placed to initiate brand activation here. This event was invitation only and set at 2500 capacity. The event was a ‘roadblock’ with over 4500 people attending the event. With another 1500 members of the public turned away as they had not RSVP’d.

Do-Over parties are worldwide and just about as 'cool' as it gets. With locations such as Manila, Miami, Moscow, Auckland, Paris, Dubai, Stockholm, Los Angeles, Osaka and now London, picked to host these parties. Their events are usually beach parties.....so the chosen east London location took on a slightly different slant, that of a 1980’s New York Block Party!

Special guest acts, as always, were unveiled during the day to on looking guests. The Do-Over parties are also known for mystery high profile acts on the billing. This particular year did not disappoint WITH Damian Marley making a surprise appearance. Other performers on the day were; Boglewaltz, Haycock, Jamie Strong, Questlove (The Roots), J Rocc, Benji B, Nickodemus, Phonte, D.ablo & Wayne Marshall
